2021 Myrtle Beach Tourism Looks to Be The Best in 10 Years

Cabin fever has begun as tourist are flocking to Horry County for the beach, shopping, golf, boating and family fun.

Myrtle Beach area has always been a favorite travel spot. Now that we are traveling again we see that hotels and resorts are booked as high as 87% for a week or weekend. This is up from last year by about 12%. Myrtle Beach residents have been excited about the return of the norm.

Mask mandates are over and a few chains or companies still ask as a store policy to wear one inside the buildings. Fogged up glasses are a thing of 2020 as we enjoy the beach. Along with the increased tourism the number of new residences has grown. Housing and apartments are in short supply and waiting lists on new properties are getting longer.
